We offer a range of services from initial consultation to completion. Although we specialise in traditional building renovation and restoration as well as the conservation of old and listed buildings, our craftsmen work on any building requiring our professional expertise.
Our works include:
Hydraulic Lime Renders
Lime render plasters can be used either internally or externally. It can be plain, enabling decoration with natural paints, or self coloured which can be maintenance free for a duration of time. Hydraulic lime render is a more durable material for external use than the putty lime render.
Lime Putty Renders
Lime putty (Non Hydraulic Lime) can also be used internally or externally. The finished product will require decoration with either a lime wash or natural paints to protect it.
Haired Putty Internal Plasterworks
Hair reinforced lime plaster is used internally onto brick or laths and is reinforced with a natural hair of either horse or goat. It requires decoration with natural paints.
Run in Situ and Cast Decorative Mouldings
Using any of the lime materials listed above in either internal or external situations, we can repair or re-instate any architectural mouldings and decorative cornices. Using either a run in situ or cast moulding method, a perfect match to the original works can be obtained. We can also supply gypsum based fibrous ornamental plasterwork.
Hand Modelled Decorative Plasterwork
Where fine attention to detail is required in restoring or conserving decorative plasterwork, our skilled craftsmen can hand model the decoration using the aforementioned materials.
Lime Washing
For application to external renders in order to protect the finished render work. White or coloured with pigment if required.
Leadwork
All leadwork requirements for your property can be catered for by our skilled leadwork craftsmen.
Stonework
Our skilled masons are able to manage any aspect of stonework required by your property.
Joinery
Your joinery needs can be easily catered for by our skilled craftsmen.
Brickwork
Any brickwork or pointing requirements can be met by craftsmen with many years experience.
